Clay Banks

Clay Banks

Clay Banks is general manager of Equity Group Georgia Division, LLC in Camilla, a position he has held since 2005. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Poultry Science, he began his career in 1994 with Seaboard Farms Inc., and joined Keystone Foods in 2002.

As general manager, Banks is responsible for all operations at the Camilla complex, which includes a Hatchery, Feed Mill, Grow Out, Processing Plant and a Further Processing Plant. In 2008, the complex had an economic impact of over $262 million dollars on the community.

Mr. Banks has been instrumental in leading his company's community-based charity efforts, including the Ferst Foundation, which provides more than 4,000 free books each month to southwest Georgia children until the age of 5; the Boys and Girls Clubs; Christmas gifts for all Mitchell County foster children; Easter Seals; and Neighbors In Need, among others.

He serves as director on both the Georgia Poultry Federation Board and the Georgia Poultry Processors Board.

Mr. Banks and his wife, Nickolette, have a son and a daughter. They are members of Byne Memorial Baptist Church.
