Diane Fletcher serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Cancer Coalition of South Georgia. As CEO, she leads and manages the Coalition's development, infrastructure and programs covering 33 counties. Ms. Fletcher advances the Coalition's goals of cancer research, prevention, screening and treatment; eliminating health disparities; bringing resources to the region; and ultimately, improving the health of South Georgians. She has more than 20 years experience in health care, management and research. Prior to joining the Cancer Coalition of South Georgia, she was Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Cancer Control Consortium, a statewide consortium of more than 250 organizations. Her past experience includes Assistant Director for Cancer Control at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, as well as clinical, management and education positions with community health care systems. Ms. Fletcher holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a Master's in Counselor Education and is currently a PhD candidate. She is a highly regarded speaker and published author as well as a volunteer in health-related and community activities. Ms. Fletcher also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Georgia Southern University.
