Beverly Nembhard, Project Coordinator

Beverly Nembhard is a Project Coordinator with the Cancer Coalition's Community Cancer Screening ProgramTM, working with local federally-qualified Community Health Centers and other healthcare partners to coordinate cancer screening services for uninsured and underinsured residents of South Georgia.

Beverly has worked in community services for more than 15 years. Before joining the Cancer Coalition she was a Resource Coordinator for the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program, a Childcare Center Director at Children’s Friend Learning Center, she also served as a Caseworker Senior and Family Support Coordinator with Worth County Department of Family and Children Services, as well as a Counselor and Program Assistant with Worth County Community Preservation, and a Group facilitator and Counselor for Open Arms/The Bridge. Beverly is a native Albanian and has lived in Albany all of her life.

She received her B.A. in Psychology from Albany State University and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Community Counseling from Columbus State University.
