Dr. Daniel Blumenthal Presents Prostate Cancer Update: To Screen or Not To Screen

Dr. Daniel Blumenthal of Morehouse School of Medicine presents this free webinar designed for health professionals, addressing current research and data to help physicians give their patients the most up-to-date information regarding the potential benefits and risks of Prostate Cancer Screening.

Participants viewing the program will also increase their awareness of educational resources and tools available to promote shared and informed decisions about prostate cancer screening.

The program is part of a collaboration between the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition and Morehouse School of Medicine, with funding provided by the Georgia Department of Human Resources.

Dr. Daniel Blumenthal is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine. He also is the principal investigator of the Morehouse School of Medicine Prevention Research Center, one of a network of 33 academic research centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These centers are engaged in interdisciplinary applied prevention research in collaboration with community partners, federal, state, and local health and education agencies.

Dr. Blumenthal received his medical degree from the University of Chicago School of Medicine, and a master of public health degree from Emory University. He is board-certified in both pediatrics and preventive medicine.
