Mellow Mushroom of Albany will show their support in the fight against cancer this Saturday when they host the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition on the patio from 8 p.m. to midnight. Popular singer/songwriter Lindsey Hinkle will perform.

“We are so grateful to Mellow Mushroom of Albany for allowing us to be there and bring awareness to our organization, which is here to help eliminate the burden of cancer in southwest Georgia,” said Amanda Williams, Cancer Coalition Development Coordinator. “Every dollar donated to the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition goes to cancer education, screening, outreach and research programs that exclusively serve the people in our 31 county region.”

Cancer Coalition t-shirts and wrist bands will be for sale throughout the night and more information about the Coalition will be available. Mellow Mushroom will also offer specials and free give-a-ways.
