RIDE for HOPE is an epic indoor-cycling event hosted by Cancer Coalition of South Georgia. On Thursday, October 11, join international Spinning® instructor Scott Schlesinger for "The Everest Ride," a 2-hour adventure with breathtaking video and empowering music. Hailed by The New York Times as "the ultimate indoor cycling class of all time," students will imagine pedaling up sheer vertical terrain through Camps 1-4, then celebrate as they place a stake at the summit of Mount Everest in honor or in memory of someone touched by cancer.
Held at Tony's Gym in Albany, A Top 10 Spinning® Facility in the United States, the ride will help raise money for cancer education, research and screening for people living in South Georgia. Over fifty indoor cycling bikes will be available for sponsorship at three levels: $100, $500, and $1,000.
All fitness levels are encouraged to participate in this ride of honor and courage. The darkened, non-competitive studio environment will allow riders to pedal at their own pace as participants reach the summit together.
All donations will directly go to programs to help fight cancer in South Georgia.
The Cancer Coalition of South Georgia is thankful to Regions Bank and Tony's Gym for helping to provide a healthy, motivational way to help raise money to further cancer control right here in our local communities.
