How is your organization funded?

The Cancer Coalition of South Georgia receives partial financial support from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta and Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. We also are supported by grants from the Georgia Department of Community Health and Georgia Cancer Coalition as well as private and corporate foundations. We receive federal funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) via a subcontract to the Emory Prevention Research Center. Local businesses and individuals also provide donations to support our work. In addition, we are supported by incalculable in-kind contributions of time, expertise, and other resources from our many partners. Please see Financial Support, Organization and Partners for more detailed information.
