We partner with hospitals, public health departments, universities, and community groups to give local residents and professionals increased access to cancer prevention, screening, education, research, and treatment. The Coalition's efforts build upon the excellence of existing healthcare services. We bring additional funding, expertise, and opportunities so that south Georgians can receive high quality cancer services and also participate in research close to home. The Cancer Coalition also facilitates collaboration among local and state organizations to better help our communities. While we promote access to quality cancer care, the Cancer Coalition is unable to provide cancer treatment, other direct patient care services, or individual financial aid. However, we are happy to refer individuals to our partners that do provide patient and family care services.
